We need to create processes to achieve smaller compelling projects, create step-by-step processes that will help you reach your end destination. Also make sure each compelling project is also a project that you can possibly achieve.
Once you have broken down your bigger picture into smaller compelling projects, then it’s essential to keep a track on a daily basis about the performance or growth in the same. Before going to bed, always ask yourself this question, “What is the significant action that I took today in order to reach my goal?” Tracking these action steps gives us more confidence to do lot more.
When you are achieving and progressing on a day-to-day basis, if that doesn’t get celebrated, the journey is going to be very boring and dull. So, you need to have growth friends on this journey to support you and celebrate your success. You need growth friends to be accountable to you. You need growth mentors to support you and push you, when you don’t take actions.
As humans we can only make something as a habit, when we understand the benefits of it. Only the first few steps are the hardest to take, but once you do it consistently, you will always find a way to keep doing it.
